SYSTEM

Vertica uses a patented system to create a uniform setback and to locate successive blocks accurately on the preceding courses. On the top of each Vertica block, there is a locating lug. On both sides of each Vertica block, there is a cam.

When a Vertica unit is placed on top of a course of previously laid units, pull the unit forward and the cams on each side of the block each engage with the cam on two adjacent blocks below.

At elevations where reinforcement is required, simply lay it flat to within 25mm of the front face of the block and carry on laying block as normal. Simple, easy and very effective.
